    Tackling Climate Change

  • Smart Energy GB commissioned us to design a show garden for them in 2019 at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, promoting the UK government’s roll out of Smart Meters.

We used the planting of trees as an analogy for getting a smart meter in your home, both having the potential to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere and to help tackle climate change.

The garden was an immersive experience. People sat together facing the centre of the garden to experience a transformation of atmosphere, from the uncertainty of flashing lights, and seeping gassy vapour from a black cracked surface, to a large watery mirror reflecting a calm scene of people and trees.

Awarded a gold medal and the Tudor Rose award for ‘Best show garden’ by the RHS.

Marketing highlights:

  • The garden had media coverage twice on BBC 1 prime time TV and was featured on Good Morning Britain
  • Media coverage of the garden created 6.6 million website impressions in July; 11.6 million impressions in total
  • Over 6000 one to one conversations on the garden between brand ambassadors and visitors
